The Trip Protector Plan offers comprehensive trip cost protection, which includes Trip Cancellation and Trip Interruption coverage. Along with protecting the cost of your trip, this plan also offers Baggage and Travel Delay coverage. As for Medical, this plan does offer high limits of coverage, but you must be enrolled in a primary health plan to be eligible for these benefits. This plan also offers coverage for Emergency Medical Evacuation while you are traveling and Accidental Death & Dismemberment benefits for your beneficiaries.
Trip Protector also provides you with a 24-hour emergency hotline that you can call for informational services, emergency assistance, and concierge services. Security profiles can be obtained for your destination so that you can be well prepared wherever you may be traveling. Also, access to HTH's global community of physicians, dentists, hospitals and other healthcare providers is available, allowing you to search online and choose the provider that best fits your needs. You can obtain Provider Profiles, which give you details about the doctor, their qualifications and specialty services that they provide. This allows you to make an informed decision if you need to seek medical attention during your trip.

We have had a very unlucky year as we had to cancel two trips and interrupt another after only a few days during the past twelve months. We had an HTH Worldwide Trip Protector plan for each one, and our claims for cancellation and trip interruption were handled very professionally and expeditiously in each case. We had someone we could contact during the claims process, and when we did contact them they were both very helpful and courteous. They also kept us informed. I certainly do recommend them.William M.
Unfortunately we are among the few people who actually file a claim on their insurance. While in Latvia at the beginning of our trip my wife had a stroke, which required her to be hospitalized for three days and required us to cancel the bulk of our trip. While in Latvia the insurer was in touch with me and handled the hospital expenses so that I did not have to worry about them. The larger claim was the trip interruption claim, and upon our return the insurer paid our claim in full without any hassle to us. I filed a completed claim form, they contacted our travel agent for some information, and then immediately paid the claim. You could not ask for better service. Thanks HTH.William M.
