The TripMed Multi-Trip plan is an annual plan that covers multiple trips taken internationally during the year. You have the option to select a maximum per trip length of 30 or 90 days, allowing you to customize the coverage based on your needs. You are allowed to choose the deductible limit as well, which is the amount that you are responsible for before coverage will kick in.
As with the single-trip medical plan, this plan also has an option for Hazardous Sports Coverage, which expands the number of covered activities. Along with basic Trip Interruption and Lost Baggage coverage, the plan also includes Emergency Medical Evacuation and Accidental Death & Dismemberment coverage while traveling internationally. In the event there is an emergency during your trip, there is a hotline you can call 24/7 which offers assistance services, such as helping you to find a local doctor, arrange a medical evacuation, and much more.

Our trip was great with no problems and no need to contact the insurance company.Walter H.
We were out of the USA for 3 months. Thank heavens we did not have any medical problems. My review cannot comment on how well the medial coverage worked. (Although we felt safe:) I can comment on the ease of learning about the coverage and then securing coverage - "Very Good". Website info clear and response to questions very good.Rose Marie P.
Five years ago I purchased a similar Medical Plan from a different Insurance Company. When I asked to re-new the policy, I was told the State of Washington no longer allowed that company to write the policy. Their Customer Service Representative suggested I call InsureAssist TripMed. I did make the phone call, and after explaining my old policy, and what I needed for my new trip into Canada, I was able to get a policy which covered my extended stay in Canada for a reasonable cost. Thank You!Ronald W.
