The Classic plan, like the Basic plan, offers Trip Cancellation and Trip Interruption coverage, but includes more covered perils and higher limits of coverage.
Some highlights of the Classic plan are:
Cancellation of your trip within 36 hours of your scheduled departure date if your trip destination is under a hurricane warning issued by NOAA (National Hurricane Center), provided the cancellation of your trip occurs more than 15 days following your effective date. This coverage gives you the choice to cancel your trip if your destination is under a hurricane warning, and you don't feel comfortable traveling there. If you will be traveling to a destination that is commonly in the path of hurricanes during the months of June through November, commonly known as Hurricane Season. Being required to work during your trip, causing you to have to cancel your travel plans. You will need proof from your employer showing revocation of previously approved time off.
Pre-Existing Condition waiver offered if the plan is purchased within 21 days of the initial trip payment and all eligibility requirements are met.
Higher limits of coverage for Baggage, Travel Delay, Medical and Emergency Medical Evacuation.
Missed Connection coverage for a covered delay of 3 or more hours.

Had a unique request: very late enrollment, very old person, wanted coverage limited to just medical/not trip reimbursement. Had I relied only on the website, I would not have easily found the policy that the agent on phone easily did.
