In this crazy world of international travel after two years of Covid madness, our travel insurance policy with Generali gave us much-needed peace of mind in dealing with the paranoid travel companies, who have lost sight of the fact that they are in the customer-service business.

We were pleased with both the price and the coverage, especially the Covid coverage. However, since we had no problems and made no claims on the insurance policy, we cannot comment on the company's response to claims.

The purpose of trip insurance is to provide peace of mind; we all hope to never use it. I purchased my policy six months before the trip, paying extra for Cancel for Any Reason and am glad I had it and never used it. I was reassuring to have this coverage with the Covid virus still an issue in some places.

This is the second time I have used insuremytrip for international travels. With the unexpected issues from COVID and government requirements. It is comforting to know I have someone to help with expenses in case I need to isolate and help to protect my travel costs.
