I did not use the insurance but felt secure in knowing I had it.
The savings over the insurance offered by my tour operator for an equivalent policy were notable.

I'm reluctant to recommend this company due to the slow claim processing. They acknowledged receipt of my claim with supporting documentation on 9/5/17 stating that the claim process would take 20 to 25 days. My claim was a very cut and dry claim under the Trip Delay/Trip Cancellation Benefit of the policy. I did not receive payment until 11/6/17 after four phone calls to Trip Mate, Inc and the assistance of an advocate from Insuremytrip.

Lucky we did not have to use the insurance but was very pleased with all the interactions I had with the company service representatives. They were informative, responsive and courteous - no matter how many times I called!!

GoReady Insurance Choice
We didn't need to use it, so it is hard to rate it. Getting the policy was easy. We like that it was first-payer as opposed to second-payer.


I am unable to comment on the claims service, which would have been the important part.
