I was most concerned about insurance coverage in the event that I or my traveling companion or immediate family member of either suffered an illness that affected the trip. RoamRight clearly insured this aspect for me. Roam Right gave me peace of mind at a very competitive rate.

AIG Travel Travel Guard MedEvac Plan
Very reassuring to have this coverage which we were glad to never need to use. It was a strenuous trip, many irregular stairs,high winds,etc. but no injuries. KSW

American Express Global Travel Shield Deluxe
Although my initial experience was not positive, that changed once Shane got involved. He identified the problem (claim was set up under two different numbers, because I had purchased the trip and insurance for my sister, but she had the medical problem that caused her to cancel.)
Shane took ownership and fixed everything. Payment was made immediately after.
Shane made all of the difference and turned the Iexperience from a negative one to a positive one.

My trip to New Mexico was canceled by Mt. Travel Sobek because of wildfires. CSA promptly paid the claim for the entire airfare.
