    The industry standard is for travel insurance providers to offer the pre-existing condition waiver if you purchase their policy within 10 to 21 days (depending on plan) of your initial trip payment. There are some exceptions such as the Nationwide Mutual Choice or Luxury Cruise plans which go by final payment:

    "The Pre-Existing Conditions exclusion is waived if the Insured (a) enrolls in this Policy within Final Trip payment; (b) purchases this Policy for the full cost of his or her Trip; and (c) is medically able to travel at the time the premium is paid."

    Unfortunately you purchased this Choice Cruise plan on 01/29/2019 which was the day after you made your final payment, so you did not qualify for the Pre-Existing Conditions Waiver.

I gave this plan a 4 because one never knows how really good a plan is until you have a claim. With this being said, I did feel the pricing was reasonable and it allowed one to choose a limit other than the standard all the other plans offered. I thought this was a big plus.

GeoBlue Voyager Essential
Although I didn't need to file a claim during or after this trip, I was so relieved to have this policy in place during my trip around the UK where I was on a tour of the Scottish Highlands and then drove from Edinburgh to the Lake District (Windemere), then to the Cotswolds (Moreton on Marsh), then to Malmesbury, Glastonbury, Stonehenge, Avebury, Calne, and then Heathrow. Considering that I hadn't driven in Europe in almost 20 years, I am in my late 60's, and had never seen let alone driven the countryside I'd planned on covering, it was the best 3 week+ trip ever! I never got sick, I never got into an accident (beeped at a few times, but I am a quick learner!), and I never needed the coverage, but I was so glad knowing I had it just in case. The coverage was adequate for my needs and cost effective. i would highly recommend it to all!
