I think this travel protection looks good & fast to buy, the coverage amount are pretty high, but I'm afraid when it comes to claiming it will become a true hassle and think/suspect it won't be as easy and fast. I hope I will never need to find out.

After 30 plus cruises, this is the first time we have had to file a claim. My husband ended up in the hospital a few days before we were to leave for our cruise. Due his medical condition, we were unable to take this cruise. It was very easy to file a claim....all of the paperwork needed was available on-line. I talked to Arch RoamRight a couple times and they were very knowledgeable and supportive. Our claim was processed in a very timely manner, and I would not hesitate to purchase insurance from them again.

I had to cancel our trip due to an illness that prevented travel which occurred prior to our scheduled departure. The claim representative who I spoke to was friendly and helpful. She emailed me the necessary claim forms and emphasized that I should be sure to submit all of the requested documents to enable the claim examiner to make a decision. I submitted all of the documents by email. Within less than 30 days I received 2 checks in the mail (1 for me and 1 for my husband) reimbursing us for the full amount of the trip. I would highly recommend Nationwide and insuremytrip.com.

I thought it was easy to compare and buy travel insurance plans and I felt like I was provided with all the information I needed to make a good decision. Thankfully, we did not need to make a claim, but I felt comfortable that if something did come up, we were covered.

I had to extend my trip by one week because of a legal issue, I called and talked to a representative and asked if I could extend the coverage for one more week and pay the difference. I was told I could not , that I would have to by another policy. I was not given an option. I will never buy a another policy from you.

You are always welcome to start a claim to determine if coverage may be available for expenses related to any of the Unforeseen events specified under our Trip Interruption or Trip Delay benefits.
