Nationwide Mutual Insurance Essential
Thankfully, I didn't need to use the plan for its main purpose -- emergency medical and trip coverage. However, my flight and luggage were both significantly delayed - events supposedly covered by the plan. I contacted customer support and although they were responsive, they provided absolutely zero actual material help in either speeding up delivery of the delayed luggage or providing any compensation related to the delays.

Buying trip insurance when traveling overseas is a must for us. We have only used it once in our many years of travel, but it provides a sense of security thought our travel period. I definitely recommend trip insurance.
