Advantage Asset Plus
Due to an injury, we cancelled our trip nine days before our planned departure. I submitted all the required forms and documentation to MH Ross on 8/25/11. I was told by MH Ross that a claim typically takes 10-15 working days to settle. The cancellation circumstances were very straightforward and not complicated. I know that our tour company was very prompt in responding to MH Ross' requests for verification. The communication with MH Ross was very unsatisfactory. I was not allowed to speak to the claims representative handling our claim. Except for one instance when a person (not our claims representative) returned my call, I initiated all the phone contacts even when I was told someone would call me back. The phone contacts I had were pleasant but the person had very little or no specific information as to why the claim was so delayed in processing and settlement or what if any steps I could take to speed up the claim settlement. I finally received payment for the full amount as requested on 11/9/2011. I think this was an excessive delay for no apparent reason.
