CSA Travel Protection
First time I have purchased trip protection insurance. My Mom was going on this trip and she was the one who wanted it. Turns out I was the one who needed it. My husband became terminally ill about six weeks after the trip was booked. We had to cancel. The paperwork was cumbersome and difficult in some cases to get the required documentation (I realize some of this is not CSA's fault but a privacy thing), but in the end my claim was paid. The insurance was only for airfare. In future, I would probably only use if booking a more expensive trip (or if my Mom insists). Claim submitted in mid May, paid mid-July. Company was polite and accessible by phone.
