This was the first time I purchased travel insurance and the customer service representative I spoke with prior to purchase was very helpful. I failed to ask whether I could be reimbursed for airline miles rather than take the airline's credit , which I wish the agent had clarified. When I filed a claim, the doctor filled in everything except dates of service so received 75% of my costs back. I realize this is standard but think there was enough info completed on the form to justify full reimbursement. Had the amount been significant, I might have asked the doctor to add this information.
