I purchased your plan because of car rental insurance for Ireland, after arriving at car rental in Dublin, with copies of entire plan, the rental company said we needed an email specifying coverage in Ireland. I phoned your company and was told they could not do that and gave me another number to call, after being told to call several numbers, with no success we had to pay $400.00 to the car rental for Their insurance, I am very disappointed and upset with your company for not simply emailing a simple confirmation of coverage in Ireland

Never needed (which is great), so I can't say how well they cover claims. However, the cost to get this coverage was cheaper than going through my travel agent and it gave me all the coverage I wanted, so I'd recommend using this company based on that.

It is really hard to review a plan when we had no claims. I can just say that the peace of mind knowing we were covered in case something did go wrong on our trip is what this plan is about.
Knowing that MOST health insurance plans do not travel to overseas countries is concerning when you travel as having to pay for medical care up front in foreign countries can be devastating.
One of our bags was not on the same plane we arrived on and was delivered to us the following day in a most timely manner 😊(thanks, Air Canada), to Dublin, Ireland. It was not an issue so no claim was made.
Several of our flights were delayed due to weather (November traveling to Toronto, Canada and on to Dublin, Ireland), what would you expect? But everything worked out just fine. There were no additional expenses incurred due to the delays so no claims were made.

We are sorry to hear that the car rental agent in Ireland would not accept this policy as proof of insurance. We do not have a history of this problem with car rental coverage in most countries and certainly apologize in wasting your time with several phone calls.
However, the Rental Car Collision - Loss offered by your policy does not include auto liability coverage. Since car rental agents in Ireland require liability coverage, the 400.00 USD insurance charge most likely included auto liability insurance which our plans cannot provide.
