Fortunately trip went well and didn't have to file a claim but wouldn't consider an international trip without getting medical insurance coverage. I rely on my credit card built in insurance for the trip but medical is not covered by credit card and more important. GeoBlue had several options of coverage, deductibles, and price. Nice to pick the one that looked best for us.

We did not need to make a claim, which was very good. However, travelling to China and Japan, from the US for 18 days, and both being fit but 72 years old, was a bit concerning. NO WORRIES WITH AXA. Three years ago, while in Sweden one of us ended up, by ambulance, in ER. All our bills were paid without question. Regardless of your age, don'the leave home without this insurance.

It is not easy to review something that you never used. I can say that this insurance was easy to buy and the agents were helpful, and the price was good, but I have no idea if the company would have come through if needed, if the coverage would have been easy to use, or been available had I needed them. The good thing is that I was comforted believing that I had appropriate insurance. Whether or not I had it was not discernible. What I did do was check out the covering company on A.M.Best and it seemed to check out OK. Who knows? But for sure I will get the coverage next time within `14 days of purchase of my trip. the one thing that was worrisome was that "pre-existing conditions" are not covered if you buy your coverage more than 14 days after you first pay for your trip. And I have no idea what is considered a pre existing condition. Fortunately, I never had to make a claim on this insurance.
