We cancelled our trip and filed a claim under the Cancel For Any Reason endorsement. The claim was handled efficiently and was settled on a reasonably prompt basis by April.

    Thank you very much for providing feedback. Comprehensive policy premiums are based on the ages of the travelers, trip cost and length of trip and sometimes destination. Although you indicated that the premium appeared high, you actually selected the 3rd least expensive plan that included coverage for preexisting medical conditions.

Glad didn't need to use the coverage; learned from fellow travelers that some did require emergency evacuation in the past from falling. So it gave me peace of mind to know that I had coverage.

We didn't experience any interruptions during our stay in India but we felt very comfortable knowing we had trip insurance if we had. It was a very reasonable insurance plan.
