The policy was well reviewed online by many others, it seemed robust and reliable. Felt comfortable having it. For short trips, I do not usually bother with travel insurance, but this trip was to Asia for two weeks, so we felt we needed it.

Nationwide Mutual Insurance Essential
Thanks so much Nationwide Insurance! I bought this policy for my parents who are over 60 years old for their trip to Vietnam. Three days before the trip my mom had a sudden sickness. I called to make the claim as soon a possible, and the claim was quickly initiated. We had to fill out some paper work and scan/submit documentation via emails. Within two weeks I received the payments! Thanks to CBPInsure! Even though they did not update the status of the claim, I didn't see why they would have to. Once again, thanks to a great insurance company, and a great plan. Our hard earned money did not go to waste because of an unforeseen sickness. After all that's what insurance is all about.

The added insurance coverage enabled me to travel in a country where the risks of accident are greater than they are in the United States. The knowledge that I had insurance to cover the risks made it allowable to have an adventure of a lifetime.
