GoReady Insurance Choice
We had to cancel a 15-day Princess Cruises trip to Hawaii in October, 2016, just two days before sailing, because of a medical issue. The April Travel policy we had purchased reimbursed us for the out-of-pocket cruise fares very promptly (within a couple of weeks) and without any hassle. Fortunately, we had no other non-refundable costs. I will definitely use the April Travel Choice plan again if it is available the next time we plan a trip. One useful fact I learned from this experience was that the government taxes and port charges portion of a cruise fare ARE refundable when you cancel a cruise, so you may not need to insure these amounts.

This was purchased for a cruise and for piece of mind for a minimal price and lots of coverage options, this is the only way to go. I have purchased insurance twice (never had to use it, thankfully). Each time I had a knowledgeable agent to help me narrow my choices down, besides doing my own research via website. Highly recommend!!

Generali Global Assistance Standard
Excellent travel insurance option. Very well written documentation outlining all aspects of coverage including important coverage details. Thankfully, I did not have to exercise my options, but am confident that had it been necessary to file a claim, I would have been very satisfied with the outcome. I will definitely consider using CSA Travel Protection on any future trip.
