Have used InsureMyTrip several times and I like the ability to pick the coverage I want, at the rate provided. I work a great deal with insurance, and find that one should really consider travel insurance for their trips. Medicare does not cover care while out of the US and most commercial plans greatly reduce or negate coverage once out of the US. Thank you, as I find it very helpful and don't book with cruise lines as I do better on your site with coverages and choice.

When booking a trip to Bermuda for my family months in advance, I had the opportunity to get a 40% reduced rate for a very expensive hotel with the conditions that it be prepaid and nonrefundable (for any reason) and of course the air travel was nonrefundable. I have an elderly father and was concerned about his health and the possibility of my family having to cancel our trip should anything happen. A friend suggested we purchase travel insurance through InsureMyTrip and it gave us the piece of mind we needed to proceed with the booking. The fee for Nationwide was 3% of the total cost of the air and hotel combined. WHAT A DEAL!! Luckily, we didn't have to use the insurance but we will certainly use InsureMyTrip for all vacations in the future.

We were happy to have bought the insurance, especially after seeing a child evacuated from our ship by a Coast Guard Medevac Helicopter on the first day of vacation. You just never know. We also met a couple who got stuck in traffic and missed the cruise out of New York by 10 minutes. They didn't have insurance and had to fly to Bermuda and spend a few nights in a hotel before meeting up with the ship spending an extra $1000.

Hard to really review unless I had claims experience....but on paper seemed ok...however real proof would be how well any claims were handled....as expected???? However, we really don't want a claim, do we!!!!!

The price was right, the coverage excellent, and customer service representative was polite, professional, personable, and very helpful. She made it quick and easy to purchase a plan.
