The best insurance is insurance that you do not use. This policy gave me peace of mind and had a great trip knowing that if something happened insurance company would be there if I needed it.

AXA Assistance USA Platinum
I have often purchased travel insurance for the peace of mind it brings. The last time, I did have to file a medical claim. I got sick while on a cruise and needed treatment that totaled about $1,000. When I got home, I filed a claim with all the proper documentation and the claim was handled promptly. Couldn't be happier. Just purchased the same plan for an upcoming trip and will purchase another for our trip next spring.

CSA Travel Protection Custom
Airline lost my luggage for a planned 11 day cruise to arctic circle. no appropriate clothes. tried to have flight back changed since I did not want to go on this cruise with no clothes. told this is not a covered reason. Stuck going on cruise with only small amount of $ to get some replacements for all I needed and total expense was quote MINUS what airline offered, not in addition to what airline offered which was unreasonable. ($100 for arctic vacation)

CSA Travel Protection Custom
Not cool when I tried to make a claim due to an emergency before the trip, provided all the documentation requested and after spending a lot of money on this trip, turned around and told me my emergency wasn't covered. The purpose of me getting this insurance was because of the amount of money invested in it and the long period of time we had to wait to travel. No, I won't recommend this company to anybody and I will never use it again. Not worth it!!

    Thank you for your feedback on the policy. We are sorry to learn that you were unable to travel due to an emergency. Trip Cancellation reimburses 100% of the pre-paid and nonrefundable trip cost if the trip is cancelled due a covered unforeseen event. If the reason for cancelling the trip is not a covered peril or results from an exclusion, the claim will be denied. Please call us at 800-487-4722 and request a Customer Advocate if you feel as if your claim was incorrectly denied. You can also contact CSA Travel Protection to receive further explanation as to why your claim was denied.
