I think that a survey of how satisfied one is with coverage would make more sense when one does actually have to use it. I would have no idea how satisfied I would be once I would have to file a claim. I wouldn't recommend your plan when I don't know how you would really respond to a claim. I can tell a friend that the coverage looks reasonable but that's about it.

Thankfully we did not need to submit any claims, but the price was better than most others for comparable coverage, as far as I could tell. I have used travel insurance in the past, and I would never travel without it for a large trip. Would buy again.

We had to cancel the trip to to a medical problem my wife experienced. We had a no pre-existing condition clause included in the policy. I submitted all of the requested documentation including copies of credit card statements, a letter from the doctor and an attending physicians statement that the doctor completed. Even with all of this they fought paying out the claim. They kept making excuses and asking for more documentation.
Three months after I filed my claim, I finally contacted InsureMyTrip and was provided with an advocate to assist me in getting my claim resolved. The advocate called me 1 day after I contacted her and told me that my claim was resolved and I would have a check within a week. I only wish I had asked for assistance sooner.
Thanks to their help, I will buy all of my travel insurance from InsureMyTrip.

I developed intestinal disorder and lost 10 pounds but was concerned about the complications related to a hospital visit so I waited until I got home.
Also, the Greek pharmacies were closed during many of the times I was most in need (Imodium) so again did without.
While this was not related to the insurance, it made me realize that I was unable to utilize the coverage.
It was a comfort to know that if the trip was canceled we had a reimbursement policy.
I'll have to think hard about future coverage since there were additional extenuating issues.

Luckily didn't have to use it, but when they shut the airspace down around DC, we immediately called CSA from the plane to see what our options were. Very helpful, sent claim forms out so they would be there when we arrived home. Thankfully, we didn't have to use them. Will use CSA in the future.

Worldwide Trip Protector Plus
So glad we got Cancel for Any Reason trip insurance through Travel Insured! I planned our Mediterranean trip in February for a September departure. As a Manager of a car dealership, his previously approved vacation was revoked. I contacted Travel Insured via email and got a quick response with forms attached and instructions to cancel all of our nonrefundable tickets with each airline. I provided hard copies of emails as proof of cancellation, with a letter from my husband's employer and the appropriate claim form. We were reimbursed 100% without a hassle.
I usually don't buy trip insurance since we're independent travelers and never do "package trips." But the airlines are very restrictive, and as travelers, we have to protect ourselves. Worldwide Protector Plus is a great, reasonably-priced product.
