Due to some travel plan chances before my first covered trip, I changed the dates and location of of trip. aXA / Insure my trip was very cooperative and helped me chance with very little fanfare. It was nice to go away with insurance, in case we needed it. Thank goodness, we didn't. It was close though, as our departure flight was close to being cancelled due to maintenance issues. But we took off, albeit 2 hours late.

Thankfully everything went smoothly with trip and didn't need to use the insurance, and I thank God daily for my good health and safety and I didn't need to use the insurance for any medical conditions. Was good to have the peace of mind of knowing it was there if needed. I felt price was reasonable.

On our annual vacation in Ireland, missed connection, Jetblue 2 hours late, to Boston. Unexpected night in Sheraton Four Points.Logan Airport. Jetblue argued we'd been notified of such prospects, giving no alternatives and declined responsibility. With some substantiation, hotel and booking receipts by email, representative confirms AIG will cover the 'unplanned expense'.
I am comforted that, with age the need to buy insurance, will be covered when needed.

Overall, the pricing was very fair. Although I didn't have to use the coverage, I felt that if we had been delayed during our trip or lost luggage or had an accident of some sort that we would be covered. I will use them again.
