Coverage was significantly less expensive than the tour company's quote. We were threatened by Typhoon Usagi in Hong Kong but fortunately were able to leave as scheduled so did not need trip interruption coverage.

C&F Travel Insured International Worldwide Trip Protector Plus
I have used this insurance for a couple of trips now and feel it is a very reasonable policy and makes me feel more secure if I have a medical problem. I have not had to file a claim and hope that I don't have to for future trips. I will use this company again.

Generali Global Assistance Standard
Your representative was very helpful in our decision making process and we are glad we had this plan even though we did not use it. The only objection I have is the several emails we got that did not pertain to our situation, e.g. hurricane insurance for the gulf area when we were going to China! I would appreciate not getting ads for more coverage that I did not need.

MEDEX TravMed Choice Outbound
Neither my wife nor I had to use the Frontier MEDEX TravMed Choice Outbound plan that we purchased for our month-long trip to China, so we cannot rate the plan on actual performance. However, we felt sufficiently comfortable with the published plan provisions and the reviews we read to have purchased the coverage, and we were a bit more relaxed in our travels throughout China knowing that we had the coverage should it be necessary to use it.

American Express Global Travel Shield Classic
Thankfully, we didn't need to use the insurance plan. The insurance was easy enough to purchase and it was nice to have the peace of mind of it being there if we did need it.
