While I (thankfully) did not use this plan I would never travel without medical and air evacuation insurance. Not having used the insurance, I can't comment on the ease of filing a claim but the coverage was good and the companies rating was high and the cost was very reasonable.

The plan covered what we needed to have covered at a very reasonable price. Fortunately, we did not have to file a claim, but the peace of mind it gave us was worth the price. Even more, we were very happy with the service provided by InsureMyTrip in sifting through all the myriad options available, presenting us with only a few of the best for us to choose from, and signing us up for the one we picked. It was all so easy!!

Forms were a bit complicated and "Patiient Authorization" form intrusive. However, I called and told the rep that my travel companion refused to fill it out. The rep told me to go ahead and file the claim without it. I received full reimbursement for my losses, so I am not complaining. Called customer service a couple of other times, and the reps were all very helpful, friendly and knowledgable. Very good service. As far as price of coverage goes, this is the first time I bought a policy with preexisting condition waiver. So I really have no authority to judge. Travelling to Russia and at my age of 73, I didn't see any more than 2 companies with Insure My Trip offering such coverage. Might have been the only one. If there were 2, this was the cheaper one.

My flight was cancelled for no reason. I had to rebook the entire international trip. I filed a claim to get reimbursed for my rebooking fee; submitted the paperwork and received a call from the insurance company in 4 days that I should be expecting a check in the mail and I

The plan provided additional coverage required by law of the country I visited as a tourist for 3 weeks. I did not file any claims or ever expected to have a need to file any claims. Got the plan to comply laws of the vising country, so I am not 100% sure how helpful my review can be.
