I filed a claim, but didn't hear back for two weeks now. Finally they send me a letter telling me that the two claims I filed are not covered.
The two claims were for change of travel plans due to hazardous weather conditions. Local authorities closed the harbor and sent out a notice for safety warning for the entire city. I lost money on the ferry and the hotel that I would have used!

Was able to find the right plan at the right price. I didn’t have to file a claim, so can’t rate that. InsureMyTrip allowed me to compare many options and select the plan that fit my needs.

I did not have to use the travel protection, but did speak with them while marooned on an island in indonesia, stranded by the explosion of a nearby volcano. The agents I spoke with were cheery and helpful, offered to assist in any way possible, had their travel agent map out alternate transportation home, and called me back when my phone connection disappeared. Just speaking with them was reassuring. I ended up making it to my original flight so didn't have to reschedule anything.

We cancelled a trip to Bali due to the impending eruption of the volcano Mt. Agung. Although the actual eruption did not occur until after our scheduled trip, red-flag warnings of imminent eruption were posted by seismologists and thousands of residents were evacuated from the blast zone near the mountain. Not wanting to expose ourselves to the risks of poor air quality and being stranded due to potential airport closures, we cancelled the trip. April Travel reimbursed us for all lodging and flight cancellation fees.

In 2015 I was hit by a car in Bali & you covered 75% of the bill. I would always use a proven company over a new one. I have had no problems with this 2017 trip other than athletes foot, probably from the Jakarta streets in the rain but that is not an issue. I thank you & will use you in the future as well as recommend you to all of my traveclubs!

Thank you very much for your 5 star review for International Medical Group. We would like to note that the medical injury mentioned in 2015 was actually reimbursed under an International Medical Group travel medical plan, not the iTravelInsured comprehensive plan.Feb 01,2018
