I did not have a claim resulting from this purchase, so really don't have experience with how well it covered my needs. One thing is a bit puzzling, is that I purchased from Nationwide because the foreign medical coverage was in the 10's of thousands of dollars, whereas most competitors were covering that at about $5,000. What was the reason why the coverage was so different, and was I over-buying in purchasing from Nationwide?

While this policy does provide a high dollar amount in coverage for emergency medical, we also offer options with more coverage or less coverage than this plan.. Seven Corners Liaison Travel Basic
Getting coverage from here was so easy - just called them and they asked a few questions and done, I got the confirmation email in 5 minutes. Just Wow! Making changes to the coverage too was easy. When you are planning travels, its a stressful moment and there are so many things to take care of - but I couldn't believe how fast this got taken care of.
