I wish there were a way to buy a year's policy rather than trip by trip. We have made a claim with CSA on our last trip and they were very prompt paying it.

Although I did not have the need to file a claim it was reassuring to me that while I was on vacation if a medical emergency happened I had insurance to help with the cost, care, and travel arrangements...all at a reasonable price.

It is crucial to obtain trip insurance if you are going to another country because Medicare does NOT cover outside the USA. One never wants to be without medical insurance. Although we usually have no medical problems with tons of travel, when there is a problem it really matters to know that you have someone to advise, assist, and cover you.

    We do get many comments on the cost of travel insurance. All Comprehensive Plan premiums, including Global Alert, base their premium on the age of the traveler, trip cost and length of trip. Although your premium may appear high, you actually selected one of our most competitively priced plans that include high medical limits.
