Although I did not need to file a claim, I have to give credit to BH for it's flexibility. The covered trip was initially scheduled for March 2020, but was postponed twice because of Covid travel rules at our destination. BH accommodated both these date changes without complaint and without additional costs, so my trip remained covered throughout 2 additional years. I finally made the trip in March 2022 and thankfully all went well.

I had to cancel my planned trip due to a medical issue. After my conversation with the Generali Global representative, I submitted my claim along with the medical and requested documents. Generali Global quickly processed my claim and advised that the trip costs would be covered. I have used Generali Global on my previous travels and have always been satisfied with their coverage. Because I have always had good results, I usually recommend Insuremytrip.com and Generali Global to my friends and family.

It’s hard to give any review since we had no claims. I can say that the application process was easy and the coverage was well explained. We would buy it again for a future trip, but as I wrote, it’s difficult to give a critical review since we do not go through the claim process.

Fortunately, we did not have to use this coverage. However, we thought that the plan provided very good coverage for any anticipated event, from lost baggage to medical evacuation, and it provided primary coverage as well. I also received prompt e-mail response to questions we had prior to departure about what to do in case of emergency. I was very satisfied with the responses.
