The real satisfaction factor would have been determined if I had to file a claim. Happy that didn't happen! I will always use this site for my travel insurance needs.

I’m thankful not to have needed this insurance during my two-week trip to Greece. But I was reassured, knowing the policy was purchased and ready, should I have a medical or other emergency. The reason I chose this particular policy was that pre-existing conditions, of which I have several, were covered. This was essential to me, and I was glad to know that if any of my conditions caused a problem, I’d be covered.

I'm pleased to report that nothing befell us that would necessitate a claim and that's very good news. But my husband and I have had accidents and illnesses in the past and consider travel insurance as important as sun block.

Thank you for bringing this to our attention. Our records do indicate that you contacted InsureMyTrip on the day before you departed on your trip questioning if a family member, who was not on your policy, was unable to go on the trip due to a medical issue. Our customer care representative read to you the terms of the policy then transferred you to the claims department to report your claim. Although it is not unusual for customers to expect a determination of coverage with that phone call, coverage can only be confirmed by the travel provider and only after reviewing claim documents.
