We were delayed in reaching a vacation spot by 24 hours due to the airlines cancellation because of weather. I called InsureAssist to see if they offered help in re-booking flights. Found out that they did not offer this service but I did have trip interruption insurance. I should keep the bills for extra cost ect. and submit a claim. Submitted a claim for a hotel room and the loss of a night in a condo. Paid my total request in less than two weeks. I learned that I needed to kept the credit card statements that I paid parts of the vacation with. With a little digging I found these. In the future, I will assemble these in my travel folder. This company did everything you want an insurance company to do: paying the claims in a timely manner. I will use this company again.
