A month after submission of a very well documented claim, I called for a status since the online claim tracker hadn't moved for two weeks. No one answered; however, the voice mail said someone would call back within 24 hours. No one did, but I got the same "will call you back within 24 hours" message. Again, no answer. I called again and actually got a person. They found my claim and said it would be expedited and I would hear from her in 3 workdays. At the 5 workday point, I called again and was told the claim was being reviewed and should be completed shortly. Evidently the claims work overwhelmed the available staff and everything was behind. Finally, after 2 1/2 months, the claim was paid.
