Are returning flight was delayed resulting in a missed connection getting back home. I expected to have coverage for luggage delay but was told policy didn't cover this...only hotel and meal costs. Also, even though I submitted the claim in my name and paid in full on my credit card one of the checks was made out to my traveling companion.

I applied for this plan, but did not need to file a claim. However, I did notice an error in my airline listed on the plan approximately 2 days before we left. I could only find an email address to contact InsureMyTrip.com to try to correct the matter and/or update my coverage. I never received a reply.

It took 5 months for my claim to be processed. That is ridiculous! I called every 2-3 weeks and every time they would say it would be completed in another 2 weeks. Crazy!

My wife and I always use Insure My Trip and AIG Travel Guard. We have had to file claims twice and have been very pleased with the ease and efficiency of filing our claims. We will continue to use and recommend them!

Trip was cancelled due to hurricane Irma. All expenditures were reimbursed by airlines, car rental, etc. No need to process a claim.

Our problem was simple and not costly. Our luggage was delayed 36 hours on a trip to Ireland. We filed a claim (with all documentation) for $119 for items we had to purchase while awaiting our luggage. We received a terse generic email acknowledging receipt of our claim shortly after filing. And we finally did receive a check for $119 a little over one month later. I don't mind a one month processing time HOWEVER there was no further communication from the company during that period, leaving us wondering what was going on. They should do an update email occasionally during the claim processing. Hopefully, there is better communication if someone has a serious issue while traveling.
