I wanted to file a claim but gave up. The representative that I spoke with sounded like I woke her up or that she was bored. I even asked her if she was OK or if I should talk with someone else. The process for filing was so complicated that I gave up. The forms did not seem to pertain to my situation: I was injured while on my trip and went to the emergency room. I continued on with the trip so there was no cancellation or interruption of the trip.

CSA Travel Protection Custom
For a claim of $60, I received a comprehensive memorandum as to why it couldn't be paid. I'm sure they spent more than $60. A quick phone call might have been wiser. I eventually responded to them with a detailed response, and eventually I did get a check from them. In the end we were satisfied with the outcome, but the amount of time it took to get a small amount of money, when the facts were not in dispute, was curious. I may use the company again, or, hmm, not sure.

In today's day and time, one is required to plan for the unanticipated. Comprehensive travel insurance provides relief to focus on the travel destination for the enjoyment of holiday, family visits or tourism.

While traveling to Greece and the United Kingdom over the past three weeks (Paris, Brussels, ET AL.) amplified the primary reason for planning the unanticipated.

Nationwide Mutual Insurance Luxury Cruise
Our cruise canceled an Israeli port a week prior to departure. I filed a claim with Nationwide Mutual prior to leaving, and the check was awaiting me when I returned home. Customer service couldn't have been nicer to assist me in the claim.

Did not have to use it, but after a family relative got sick and had to use the hospitals in the country, it gave me peace of mind that me and my wife were covered.

AXA Assistance USA Gold
I think that a survey of how satisfied one is with coverage would make more sense when one does actually have to use it. I would have no idea how satisfied I would be once I would have to file a claim. I wouldn't recommend your plan when I don't know how you would really respond to a claim. I can tell a friend that the coverage looks reasonable but that's about it.
