Generali Global Assistance Standard
We thought it important to buy trip insurance as the hospitals in Burma are not up to our standards and if something happened to us, we wanted to be taken to a country that has good medical care, perhaps Thailand. We are very glad that we had not accidents or sickness and did not need any help. We thought the coverage was more expensive than for other countries we had visited.

TravelSafe Classic
I had to cancel due to my father contracting a severe illness. The staff was courteous and helpful. They required much paperwork -- confirmations of cancellations, etc. (as all insurance carriers do.) However, they patiently helped me through the process to get everything I needed and everything was covered.

TripAssure Advantage Bridge
The M.H. Ross Advantage Bridge plan covered everything I was concerned about. It was expensive but I'm old and understand that any plan would be costly for someone my age. Everyone I spoke with at InsureMyTrip was patient and helpful. Thanks.

American Express Classic
Between the time we took out our insurance and the start of our trip, my husband was diagnosed with lymphoma. Not only did the insurer reimburse all of our covered expenses, it did so quickly and with a minimum of fuss. There was no haggling and no requests for unnecessary paperwork.
