Happily, we did not need to use our insurance. However, on a plane ride between countries in Africa, we met a woman who had broken her ankle the first day of her vacation. She had originally thought she wouldn't get any insurance but changed her mind. She was glad she did! Her insurance had purchased three seats on the plane so she could keep her leg elevated during the flight. I won't ever travel without insurance now!

Take Me Home - Multi-Trip
I never received an electronic MedEx coverage "card", just the confirmation of enrollment email at the time of purchase. I expected to receive a type of "card" that could be shown to a health care provider. I have received such a "card" from MedEx in the past. Will I not receive a "card"?

The older you get the more expensive it gets. I understand that BUT it made me have second thoughts. I wonder what the rate of plan usage for folks over 70 is to justify the high price. I thing it comes close to a rip off for senior citizens

Travel Accident Plan
We were lucky not to have an incident but the fact that we had a sense of security was our source of satisfaction. The only issue we would like to address is that the cover should include data such as details of the flights we were using so that, should an accident occur, there can be follow-up in case the insured dies.

Comprehensive Coverage plan premiums are calculated based on age of travelers, trip cost and length of trip. In some plans, destination may also affect the premium. You did choose the least expensive of our Comprehensive plans, so the policy premium was only 6.3% of your total trip cost.
Your comments on price is a frequent complaint. Nevertheless we do not expect any decrease in rates in the foreseeable future.
