Comprehensive plans offer the most benefits, including Trip Cancellation and Trip Interruption. These plans provide the best protection for the investment you have made in your trip.
Trip insurance has too many loopholes! I needed help in a flight rebooking. No help from your company. I have bought your product many times, not anymore.

Thank you for your comments. Your policy does include a "TEN-DAY LOOK: If You are not satisfied for any reason, You may cancel insurance under this Policy by giving the Company or the agent written notice within the first to occur of the following: (a) ten (10) days from the Effective Date of Your Insurance; or (b) Your Scheduled Departure Date. If You do this, the Company will refund Your premium paid provided no Insured has filed a claim under this Policy."
Unfortunately you purchased this policy back on October 10, 2018 so you do not qualify for the 10 Day Refund.
We did have a delay in baggage delivery on the way home that was inconvenient but did not require purchase of replacement supplies or additional laundry expenses that would have been covered by the plan. However it did require extra time and phone calls with the airline over 3 days to track down the bags and there is no compensation for that effort.

Although your plan would not reimburse you for the additional time and phone calls, Generali Global Assistance did offer help in "Locating Lost or Stolen Items: The assistance provider will assist in locating and replacing lost or stolen luggage, documents and personal possessions."
"How to Call the 24-Hour Emergency Hotline - If you need emergency help for an available service, you can call toll-free 24 hours a day to (877) 243-4135 from within the United States, or call collect to (240) 330-1529 from around the world."
We hope that this information will be helpful to you for future purchases of a Generali policy.
Insure My Trip is the only travel insurance I purchase for all of my trips because the staff is great, make fabulous suggestions, and it is easy to do. Like I can purchase by phone to ensure I get the exact coverage I need as I do mainly adventure and third-world country trips. I have even mentioned it several times in my Travel Advice Travel Insurance ebook which hopefully will be online within the month. Keep up the good work!

Thank you for your 5 star review on your Generali Global Assistance plan that you have purchased through InsureMyTrip. We are pleased to hear that the Generali plans, which you have purchased over the past few years, continue to provide you with the coverage that you need for international travel.
We didn't have to file a claim, fortunately, but having done so a couple of years ago we know how good they are. Having that confidence in them makes for a more relaxed trip

We had delayed baggage and had to buy a couple of days' worth of clothes from a local mall booth-vendor. All cash and no receipt. Based on the other evidences I submitted (photos, emails, etc.) Generali approved my request for reimbursement promptly. Couldn't ask for more.
