After traveling to and through Papua New Guinea, we were glad to be covered for all eventualities since this is a touch place logistically to travel. Since our travel went without incident, as far as I can tell the Travel Guard policy was a good one. I would do it again, but would probably reduce some coverage on baggage, and perhaps some medical coverage.

Fortunately all went well and I did not need to file a claim. But I am impressed with the level of communication from CSA (including their email just before the trip, reminding me to print out my confirmation email and take it with me), which gives me the confidence that they would have been responsive if I had needed them. They were also very helpful at the time of purchase, when I needed to link two separate policies since my travel companion was in another state, which was handled promptly and accurately by a customer service representative.
