Maybe the worst experience I've ever had with travel insurance. I got the "platinum plan" which covered flight delays, cancellations and a ticket change fee of $250. When my flight home was cancelled and I was going to get stuck in west africa I called AXA for help and was told "oh, there's no monetary value to your policy, you shouldn't even bother filing a claim." I know insurance companies like to find reasons to deny coverage, but they're supposed to at least let me file a claim first. That's fraud. Worst. Company. Ever.

The plan was exactly what I was looking for in terms of both coverage and cost. The coverage was clearly explained so I felt like I understood what I was getting. I only had one question which I thought of immediately after I paid for the plan and I tried to call customer service. My flight left at night on the 12th but I didn't arrive home until the 13th and I used the departure date on my plan as the end date. My question was, would I be I covered if anything happened on the 13th? So in other words should I have extended my coverage date through the 13th even though I was already en route? When I called and followed the prompts, I got to the place where the recording said someone would be with me and then my call was disconnected. It was late and I was tired so I never called back. Thankfully, I didn't have to use the coverage but there was a hint of doubt that troubled me as to the level of service I might expect.

Our customer service is open Monday-Friday from 7am-Midnight ET and on weekends from 9am-9pm ET.
I have used InsureMyTrip before, and have been satisfied with the ease of enrolling. Since I am not always confident on the computer, I have occasionally called your customer service number, which has always been very helpful.
