Since I didn't file a claim, it's difficult to score the insurance overall, but I do like that Nationwide has travel insurance specific to cruises. That means it includes items many travel insurances won't have, such as missed ports or shore excursions. They are my go-to travel insurance anytime I take a cruise.

We actually used the insurance! Took a 11 day cruise to Panama and my mother had some issues and had to see the ship's doctor. Bill came to over $800. Since she is on Medicare, she had to submit it first to them. After they declined to pay (as suspected since this was not an American doctor) she submitted the claim to Nationwide. They reimbursed her 100%. I would recommend this insurance! She paid $370 for the insurance so it was well worth it.
