The customer service was fantastic prior to my purchase. This was the first time I ever flew this far from home. Needless to say I had many questions and concerns. Every time I called they more more then helpful, spending as much time with me as I needed. They never tried to up sell me and in fact told me about the plan I needed which was 2 to 3 times less than what I was thinking. Very good customer service.

I got this insurance for myself and my daughter at the last minute after speaking with a pediatric nurse who flies to other countries to pick up children and bring them to the US for treatment. She told me how expensive it was to be medically transported. My own insurance would reimburse for basic medical emergency treatment, but not transport. For the price it was well worth the peace of mind.

It was good to be able to purchase a medical evacuation policy without the necessity of buying more than I needed. I am willing to risk the cost of the trip, but fear being stuck in a hospital with a language barrier.

Fortunately we didn't need to use our plan, although we referred to it several times on our trip, especially when jumping out of the way of fast-moving cars and speedy bicycles! Both my travel partner and I (we are 65 years old) felt a real sense of comfort knowing we potentially had coverage in the event of an accident.
