While we didn't have a claim, we felt confident with the purchase process, that if we did, it would be handled as we would want. We are VERY skeptical of travel insurance following a disastrous assistance and claim process with World Nomads last year when they did everything possible to not pay for my hospitalization, repatriation and any assistance following a CVA while in Spain. With InsureMyTrip, it seems as if there would be support along the incident and claim continuum, so, so important.

my flight was delayed for 36 hours i had to stay in Frankfort airport my luggage was damaged and arrived 1 week after i arrived.Coming back my luggage was delayed again, and completely damaged .

This plan does not have travel or baggage delay coverage. It does not protect against damaged baggage. It offers coverage for the re-issuing of a lost passport or airline ticket, and lost unreturned luggage. These coverages are listed under the Travel Baggage section of the policy.Jul 13,2011
