We received most correspondence from Insuremytrip. We got an order confirmation from AIG, but nothing on what to do in an emergency and who to contact if emergency services were required when we were in New Zealand. We did not make a claim and, therefore, don't know how AIG would handle a claim, but AIG servicing was well below average.

Thank you for your feedback on the policy. After purchase, AIG Travel Guard emails a purchase confirmation which can be printed and carried with you on the trip. The purchase confirmation is a one page document which includes the purchase details, contact information, and schedule of benefits. This insurance was a cheap way to provide peace of mind for our trip. You never know when something unexpected might arise and it is good to have the peace of mind to know you are covered. We will purchase this insurance when ever we travel.

It was easy to get and the price was right. They provided sufficient paperwork (via internet) to maintain my confidence. One needs something like this to have peace of mind when far from home.
On the other hand I was fortunate enough not to need to use it. So I can't comment on function fulfillment. I would tell my friends to look into it and make their own decision, as I had, but would not "recommend" what I hadn't used.

The ease of acquiring and the VERY helpful young lady who gave me fabulous advice was OUTSTANDING. Thankfully, I did not need to file a claim but I felt that we had excellent coverage at a very reasonable price. Peace of mind is a valuable aspect of a trip. Thank You
