After traveling to and through Papua New Guinea, we were glad to be covered for all eventualities since this is a touch place logistically to travel. Since our travel went without incident, as far as I can tell the Travel Guard policy was a good one. I would do it again, but would probably reduce some coverage on baggage, and perhaps some medical coverage.

Thank you for the feedback on your policy. We offer the Travel Guard Basic and Silver plans that cover trip cancellation and trip interruption with lower limits on travel baggage and emergency medical benefits.Apr 07,2014

Fortunately, we did not need to use the benefits of your plan. However, we still consider it a worthwhile investment, especially at our ages.
