Since I did not file a claim my review is not 100% accurate. It is the service provided once a claim is necessary that matters. Thankfully I did not need to use the insurance. I felt satisfied with coverage.

This is my 18th purchase of travel insurance from Insuremytrip.com. I've only needed it once... That bill was $279,000.00 covered by my health insurance plan and nearly $14,000 of uncovered expenses paid out within 10 days by my travel insurance.
Thankfully, I didn't need it this time either, but I'd never leave home without it, EVER! And neither should you!
BTW, took the Platinum plan rather than the basic coverage because Medicare does not cover any medical expenses outside of the United States and while Medicare supplement plans sometimes provide a once in a lifetime time $50,000 maximum payment, see my bill above to understand why that's useless!! TRAVEL INSURANCE! Don't leave home without it.
Thankfully, I didn't need it this time either, but I'd never leave home without it, EVER! And neither should you!

We have purchased insurance from AXA to cover three trips, and twice we needed to file a claim. Their response was consistently prompt, compassionate, and fair. We were fully reimbursed for all expenses that we documented on both claims.

The plan appears to provide excellent coverage and assistance in the event of cancellation, trip interruption, illness or injury while in transit. Fortunately I have never had to file a claim so I cannot speak to the nature of the process should a request be filed for benefits. I would however recommend this plan and continue to purchase this one or similar for future travel. RM
