I wish the cost were lower, but.............that being said..................there is comfort it knowing that at 80 years old, I can still travel . As careful as I try to be, things can happen. I would not travel out of the USA without it . I have never had to use it...................but then.................I do not want to.

I spent hours and hours on the phone with customer service trying to get a straight answer about possibly filing a claim. I was told I'd be called back; I wasn't. I asked to speak to a supervisor; he/she wasn't available. I was so frustrated that I called the site who I purchased the plan through and ended up in tears on the phone (and she, by the way, was VERY helpful). So incredibly frustrated by the whole experience. We won't be using AXA ever again.

We do want you and your fellow customers to be aware that InsureMyTrip offers a Customer Advocate Program. Customer Advocates are representatives assigned to assist customers who experience issues after filing a claim. Requesting a Customer Advocate is as simple as calling 800-487-4722 or emailing [email protected], explaining the events which resulted in a claim, and the challenges you are facing.Jun 20,2017

Fortunately didn't have to use the plan, our trip went without a hitch. But for a hiking trip in a remote area, it was good to know I had coverage if I needed it or had a problem

I took the AXA Assistance USA Gold plan because it had a "cancel for any reason" rider. Usually I would not book trip insurance to London, but because my brother-in-law's father had just died I figured it wouldn't hurt. Of course I didn't need it, but it was nice to know that I had it.
