Received my check to settle my claim. I am being paid in full for my out-of-pocket medical costs with no deductible as the policy states. Great policy. AXA was quick to process claim and was in communication with us.

Upon receipt of your review, we did contact AXA Assistance USA claims department who advised that you did call AXA claims because you had a baggage delay. However, you did not wish to provide supporting documentation so you decided that you would not file the claim. Of course, we respect your decision not to proceed with your claim but supporting documentation is a necessary requirement when filing a claim with any insurance carrier.

Travel insurance premiums are based upon the following factors: the length of your trip, the cost of your trip, and the ages of the travelers. Typically, the premium for a travel insurance premium is anywhere from 4-10% of the trip cost. With your total trip cost being 8,875 USD and your policy cost being 779 USD, you fall within this realm. For future purchases, it may be helpful to contact our office at 800-487-4722 where a licensed representative would be happy to review the available options with you and provide assistance finding the most economically efficient plan for your travels.
