It took awhile to find, but this is better than what any other typical insurance company provides. I didn't need to make a claim, but the coverage appeared excellent for price.

Great coverage options for the price. Easy purchasing options and I did call to ask a few questions and the reps are very helpful. I did not have to put in a claim, but I felt comfortable with the coverage if something went wrong on my trip, having that extra layer of security.

Comprehensive plans may appear "pricey" since premiums are generally based on the traveler's age, trip cost and length of trip. However, we do offer a wide range of products. In the future, you may wish to call us at (800) 487-4722 for assistance in quoting and purchasing a policy.
Really hard to rate without actually having filed a claim. That's where satisfaction lies - or not. So - based on my experience buying it and comparing it to other plans, I'm satisfied.

I had to cancel my trip because of unexpected health issues. AXA uses a subcontractor to actually process the claim. The amount of detailed documentation demanded, and the unending requests for "more" information, dragged for months. Although they did finally reimburse for the appropriate expenses, I actually reduced the amount of my claim during the process because Delta unexpectedly refunded the cost my "nonrefundable" tickets; kudos to Delta. I don't know how AXA would have handled the plane ticket costs or change fee had we needed to resolve that issue, since I couldn't travel within the allotted time frame of allowable reticketing.
