The AXA Assistance USA Platinum plan offers the highest limits of coverage out of all three AXA Assistance plans. Just like the AXA Assistance USA Gold plan, the Platinum plan provides additional Travel Delay benefits along with coverage if your golf or ski trip is disrupted due to Inclement Weather. Another added benefit is coverage for Sports Equipment Rental coverage.

I did not need to file a claim. I would buy this insurance again because I compared some prices and I found this plan to be a good price for all it covered.

Maybe the worst experience I've ever had with travel insurance. I got the "platinum plan" which covered flight delays, cancellations and a ticket change fee of $250. When my flight home was cancelled and I was going to get stuck in west africa I called AXA for help and was told "oh, there's no monetary value to your policy, you shouldn't even bother filing a claim." I know insurance companies like to find reasons to deny coverage, but they're supposed to at least let me file a claim first. That's fraud. Worst. Company. Ever.

It's a precarious time to travel so having the peace of mind that I'm covered no matter what makes it easy to accomplish my dreams. I have a lot of miles to travel in the future and the price of the insurance and your service is making that a reality.

I spent hours and hours on the phone with customer service trying to get a straight answer about possibly filing a claim. I was told I'd be called back; I wasn't. I asked to speak to a supervisor; he/she wasn't available. I was so frustrated that I called the site who I purchased the plan through and ended up in tears on the phone (and she, by the way, was VERY helpful). So incredibly frustrated by the whole experience. We won't be using AXA ever again.

We do want you and your fellow customers to be aware that InsureMyTrip offers a Customer Advocate Program. Customer Advocates are representatives assigned to assist customers who experience issues after filing a claim. The plan was expensive, but it offered a lot of coverage. Thankfully, we didn't have to use it, but I've have other travel insurance plans that I've had to make claims on, so you never know, and it was worth every penny for the piece of mind knowing that we wouldn't lose our house if something did happen.

I have bought AXA plans 4 times and will continue to do so because the one time I filed a claim, it was promptly processed. That is what I expect. No hassle. I sent the required documentation. No questions were asked. The claim was processed.

For medical reasons, we had to cancel a portion of the trip in advance of traveling. AXA kindly reimbursed us for non refundable trip deposits under the claim and continued keeping the policy in force for the balance of the trip. They demonstrated thoughtful and sound decision making, even though they had the option to terminate the policy at the time of the claim.

Since we didn't have to use the insurance, we are unable to do a review. We would only be able to give an adequate review if we had filed a claim and gone through the process of using the policy. Pretty hard to review an insurance policy company when you have no experience with a claim
