We, fortunately, did not have to file a claim, but it was worth the money knowing that we were covered. Our bookings for a rather expensive trip were non-refundable and non-transferable. At the same time, my mother-in-law's health is declining, so it was good knowing we would be covered if something really serious happened to her and we had to cancel.
