I did not have to use the plan on my recent trip, but I assume it would have covered the things listed in the plan description. Last year I did have to use the plan to collect on some damage to a suitcase, and while the plan would not submit payment until I had already collected something from the airline, when it finally did, I was reasonably satisfied. I never travel without insurance, and usually use CSA.

We always buy trip insurance and have had to make claims twice. This December has been a horrible weather month for the Midwest. Trip insurance gives that layer of protection and comfort. We really thought that we would have to cancel the trip and make a claim. Thank goodness we did not and have a fabulous trip.

I purchased a plan to cover my recent trip to Germany. I was very impressed by the customer service; I was always immediately connected to a live person and they patiently answered all questions I had and advised me on the best plan for my situation. This was a great comfort. They encouraged me to call back should I remember more questions/concerns. I will recommend InsureMyTrip to all my friends.
