I am glad we did not have to use the plan! We were in London during the British Airways IT problem. Our flight was delayed initially but never canceled. Thousands of people were not as lucky. I was more calm knowing we had travel insurance!

We use Insuremytrip and CSA for a number of trips that we take each year.
We have done this for over 20 years and have essentially no claims. We plan to do insure future trips with Insuremytrip and hope you are there if we ever havea claim. Although we know it is best to have a good vacation when everything goes well.

No need to file a claim but certainly thought the coverage and price point were within reason. The ease of obtaining insurance coverage was a breeze. I did call a Customer Care representative with a few questions and received excellent service.

We have never purchased travel insurance before, but for this particular trip we chose to do so. The reasons were more about concerns over possible health issues back home; however this plan actually was put into use when our daughter fell ill while travelling overseas. After a hospitalization of four days and our return flights being delayed into the following week we had amassed additional costs. CSA checked in with us every day. They followed our daughter's medical progress and worked with the doctors to ensure her ability to travel. The plan covered our extra hotel, meals and car rental, plus our out-of-pocket health insurance deductible. Will consider this plan again!

Since there was no claim, the process appeared to be seamless: buy insurance, nothing happened, so there is no experience to review. We have no way of knowing whether the insurance functions . . . other than that we experienced the peace of mind in believing that an unforeseen event would be covered and corrected.
